Over the past year, our members have remained actively engaged in strengthening civic participation and community connections throughout Clinton County. Activities included Meet and Greets with Beau Bayh, Jessica Bailey, and Coumba Kebe. Many participationd in the Amigos Program through the Learning Network, voter registration drives at the Frankfort Public Library, canvassing, absentee ballot outreach, community food drives, and attendance at leadership training and the Party Summit.

The Big Dem BBQ on September 12 was a great success with an excellent turnout. We were pleased to welcome Jessica Bailey, candidate for Comptroller, Nate Stout, Jackson Hayes, Lewis Wheeler and Debra Pearson who all shared informative presentations.
Everyone enjoyed good food, fellowship, and conversation. Donations collected for the Mulberry Food Pantry will help support local families in need. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped.

Organizers have begun canvassing activities in District 2 and District 3 of Clinton County.
Preparations included assembling informational materials for distribution within the community.
The outreach effort is intended to provide residents with information and increase awareness of local issues and upcoming events.
Activities are taking place in accordance with applicable local and state requirements.
Additional information about canvassing schedules and geographic areas may be made available.

Monday, 9/15, we spent the day at Frankfort Public library being available for information and registering people to vote.

The 2026 Raíces Festival held at Prairie Creek Park entertained many people. The Democratic party had a booth, where we enjoyed music, dancing, giveaways, and many booths filled with food, crafts, and activities for all ages. We had over 20 people use a QR code for voting information,. We connected with neighbors, and experience a day full of color and excitement. We gave away whistles, positive influence bracelets and tattoos to the kids, along with a special give away of 3 filled backpack
